Heads up, The Completely Redesigned Explorer from Ford

Saturday, September 10th, 2011

Ford’s Explorer can track its roots back to the original Bronco that first saw the light of day during the 1966 model year. The initial Bronco was decidedly compressed and it proved popular for both off-roading as well as specific commercial applications. Eventually, the Bronco evolved into a full-size vehicle based upon the F-Series pickup; but, then in 1984,it reemerged as the Bronco II, one of the 1st compact sport-utility vehicles as we know them today. In 1990, the Bronco II became the Ford Explorer, literally beginning the modern SUV market. The Ford Explorer Omaha NE is a champion. One of the first advantages of the Explorer is the heavy-duty frame design which is very useful in hauling and off-road applications. It has a body made for a truck but it also has the spacious, comfortable feel of a car.The Explorer Omaha NE has three different models which include XLT, Eddie Bauer and Limited. The XLT has power window and door locks, air conditioning, and sixteen-inch aluminum|alloy] wheels. You can also add the Sport Package with added commodities such as step-up bars and twenty-inch wheels. The next trim package is the Eddie Bauer which includes seventeen-inch aluminum wheels, power driver seat, leather upholstery, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, Ford’s sync package and satellite radio. To have it all you will want to get the Explorer Limited which features rear parking sensors, dual-zone automatic climate control, perforated leather upholstery, eighteen-inch aluminum wheels, power-folding third row seat, driver memory functions, and an upgraded audio system with in-dash CD changer and steering wheel mounted controls. If that’s not enough features for you, you may want to put a bid in to NASA for the space shuttle.

The 2010 Ford Explorer has a very easy ride courtesy of the independent rear suspension. The wheels stay grounded when traveling on rough pavement. This is the ultimate family SUV, you can haul your workload around town with plenty of room for all the kids football supplies. When it’s camping season or you want to go to the lake for a getaway the Ford Explorer is perfect for carrying your boat or trailer.
